January 30th

Hey Everyone
Well we are basically wrapping up another week. With the Baffin Chamber of Commerce and Skills Canada taking over our school Thursday and Friday we are going to have a short instructional week. Not a whole lot has happened to me this week. The biggest thing was trying to get back in the groove of teaching regular classes. After getting back after Christmas we just seemed to be in exam mode and we spent a fair bit of time reviewing. Now it is back to the regular routine and it is really nice. The big news in the community this past week was a local 12 year old bagging his first polar bear. In closing I will include some photos and let the pictures speak for themselves. All I am going to say is that he was a pretty big bear ( 12 feet from nose to tail). I wouldn't want to meet up with it
Till Later

Nice bear, Blake. Do the Inuit eat the meat where you're at? They do over here, although I have never tried it myself. Do you have any idea what price they were trying to get on the pelt? Or was the hunter going to use it locally? There are a few families that use it themselves here and others sell it for the cash.
